Our client is a power electronics start-up born and based in Madrid, who have developed a new way to apply digital control to electronics converters.

Since 2015, they have developed Hardware solutions working directly with transistors and other electronic components. This year, they launched an artificial intelligence-based software platform that helps tier 1 companies design and develop electronic components in an agile way. 

Their Saas platform allows engineers design their electronic components in only 6 hours instead of 4 to 5 days work. Their clients include   Bosch, ABB, Panasonic or Whirlpool and are based in Germany, Spain and France. 

They are now accelerating their growth and aim to recruit an ambitious Sales Engineer to lead their expansion internationally. 


Your Mission:

As a Sales Engineer you will act as main business and technical Consultant for customers following each business opportunity through to the final sale by:

  • Generating new business by cold calling/call emailing businesses within the automobile Markets.
  • Onboarding clients on the SaaS solution and communicate the benefits of working with us.
  • Building relationships with key accounts and increasing revenue. Your attention to detail is a must in this role because of the number of quotes/tenders you provide to our clients.
  • Following up potential prospects on which a deal has not been made and be able to nurture these accounts.
  • Driving revenue growth by meeting with customers, promoting the benefits of the platform.

You must have strong technical skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.

You will be a customer facing individual who can understand the overall situation and objectives of customers looking to adopt a new technology.


Your Profile:

  • Background in Electronic Sales Engineering is a must.
  • High performing sales person with at least 2 years of experience in B2B and/or SaaS sales working with high-tickets.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle for high technology, and willingness to negotiate and work under pressure.
  • Autonomous,ambitious and a real sales DNA.
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for sales and customers, motivated by challenging goals and positive results.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening and attention to details.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

  • Spanish or German.
  • Previous experience dealing with Tier 1 companies and/or magnetic manufacturers 

Salary package:

On offer for this incredible position is a competitive base salary of 30k + Commission. Joining a growing tech startup, you will be supported with ongoing training and support where they will room for development as you will grow the Sales team from scratch.
